Our Commitment

At Vorlaxengharxap, we take pride in the quality of our handcrafted fabric bags and accessories. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please review our return policy below.

Your Statutory Rights (Consumer Guarantees Act 1993)

This return policy does not limit or replace your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). If you are a consumer (e.g. you bought the goods for personal or household use), the goods come with guarantees that they are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. If goods fail to meet a guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy at no cost to you—such as repair, replacement, or refund—and in some cases we may be required to cover the cost of returning faulty goods. The sections below describe our voluntary return process for change-of-mind returns and how we handle defects and damages in line with our obligations.

Standard Products

For standard (non-custom) fabric bags and accessories:

• Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery
• Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition
• Original packaging should be included when possible
• Proof of purchase is required

Custom Orders

Due to the personalized nature of custom fabric bags:

• Custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned for a refund
• We provide design mockups for approval before production begins
• Once approved, changes cannot be made to the order
• If a custom item arrives with defects, please contact us immediately

Defects and Damages

If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect (and so does not meet the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies):

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue
• We will assess the damage and provide a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate
• Do not attempt to repair the item yourself as this may affect your entitlement to a remedy
• Where the item fails to meet a consumer guarantee, we will cover the cost of return shipping (e.g. prepaid label or reimbursement)

How to Return

To initiate a return:

1. Contact us at response@vorlaxengharxap.world or call +64 9 271 1350
2. Provide your order number and reason for return
3. Receive return authorization and shipping instructions
4. Package the item securely to prevent damage during transit
5. Ship the item to our Auckland studio address

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

• Inspection is completed within 3 business days
• You will receive email confirmation of refund approval or rejection
• Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was defective

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style:

• Follow the return process above
• Place a new order for the desired item
• Alternatively, contact us to arrange a direct exchange (subject to stock availability)

Return Shipping

For standard returns:

• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
• We recommend using tracked shipping for your protection
• Items lost in return transit are not eligible for refund

For defective or damaged items:

• We will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse shipping costs

Non-Returnable Items (Change of Mind)

For change-of-mind returns only, the following are not eligible under our voluntary return policy:

• Custom-made or personalized bags
• Items that have been used, washed, or altered
• Items without proof of purchase
• Items returned after the 14-day window

If goods are faulty or do not meet a guarantee under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, your right to a remedy is not affected by the above.
